Aboyne Judo Club Coaching Success
Club member, Kirstie McBeath attended the UKCC Level 1 Judo Course. She passed both theory and practical modules. The certificate was received in January 2014. The grant received from the Sports council enabled us to send Kirstie down to Edinburgh to participate in the Coaching Award. This was valuable to our club as it meant that we now have another club coach, which has enabled us to increase the amount of pupils on the mat at a time, as well as introduce another session. Since October the club has gone from strength to strength and our numbers have doubled. In the future we look to put another club member through their Coaching Award to expand the club further.

Macduff Lions FC Grant Award
The grant awarded has allowed Macduff Lions to invest in extra training equipment for our nursery team. This year there has been approximately 40 kids shown interest / enrolled in the nursery team, without the new equipment the coaches would not have been able to facilitate and sustain training for this many kids.
Grant award Rory Cameron Freestyle Skier
Thank you for the award of £100 towards new equipment. Ski's are very expensive and this year I have grown a lot which meant that my skis were becoming too short for me. The main problem with this was that I would lose stability following landing my jumps. The money saved on the ski's allows me to divert that funds to coaching and competition entry again helping my overall development.
