Macduff Lions FC Grant Award
The grant awarded has allowed Macduff Lions to invest in extra training equipment for our nursery team. This year there has been approximately 40 kids shown interest / enrolled in the nursery team, without the new equipment the coaches would not have been able to facilitate and sustain training for this many kids.
Grant award Rory Cameron Freestyle Skier
Thank you for the award of £100 towards new equipment. Ski's are very expensive and this year I have grown a lot which meant that my skis were becoming too short for me. The main problem with this was that I would lose stability following landing my jumps. The money saved on the ski's allows me to divert that funds to coaching and competition entry again helping my overall development.
NERC travel grant
North East Riding Club were delighted that seven of their members had qualified to represent the North East of Scotland at the British Riding Club ChampionshIps which were held in Lincoln on the 4th September. The classes were huge, but we were very proud that Debbie Murray on her lovely MFS Fancyman came 9th and Loretta MacDonald was 14th on her Rubira, both competing in very strong classes. Our team of four were also placed 13th, so the weekend was a great success
