Sports Awards Evening 2016



The Sports Awards Evening was held at The Venue, Garioch Sports Trust, Inverurie on Friday 18th March 2016.

Aberdeenshire Sports Council annual Sports Awards Evening was a great success with almost 300 people attending. The winners were selected from over 55 nominations, all of a very high standard.

The two speakers were Claire McDonald the Scottish Disability Sport Regional Manager for Grampian and Steven Sweeney from AFC Community Trust.

Peggy first came on board as an AS volunteer a couple of years ago. Whilst waiting for Disclosure and a start date she completed both her First Aid and Child Protection Training in readiness to start ASAP as a volunteer.
